The crew
Meet your bloggers:
Duane Geddes is the executive director of the Disabled Sailing Association of BC, along with the other societies that make up the Sam Sullivan Disability Foundation. (Quadriplegic Sam Sullivan formed these groups to offer new options for people with disabilities.) He’s a former newspaper publisher who’s been with the foundation 10 years, including the last five as executive director.
Matthew Wild writes for the Disabled Sailing Association of BC. He’s been doing it since 2006 – essentially he came to put together the website and churn out media releases for the 2006 Mobility Cup regatta and decided to stay. He’s a freelance journalist who’s more widely seen blogging about peak oil. Matthew is your site administrator.
Rod Mack is mad, bad and dangerous to know. A successful club DJ in Victoria, BC, he’s a high-energy, high-adrenalin, extreme sports guy. Rod is loud and in-your-face, but at the same time is one of the most honest and generous people you will meet. (By the way, he didn’t write this.)
